The Playboy CEDs (which are the most dated things issued on CED) all have the signature of the cover-girl on the front. I've seen several Ebay sellers mistake these for actual autographs.

Or
How about the eBay sellers how take the CED out of the cover to photograph it.
Or list CEDs as LPs / Laser Discs / place mats / posters
Or

Another good one is listing the title of the movie "Stripes" as "I Want You", since that's in bigger letters on the cover than the actual title. Yet another (for any format) is turning the cover of "Altered States" upside-down, since it shows William Hurt hanging upside-down- video stores did that with the VHS tape in the 80s and I've seen the DVD displayed upside-down recently too. They do the same thing with the DVD of "Super Troopers", which has most of the cast upside-down on the cover.
