Hello! I am new here and recently acquired a Super Arno, which works on my Sega Genesis to play it wireless. It was pretty easy to set up for this purpose, but the cables are a bit short. I think I will have to buy some extensions!

I am interested in learning more about the Super Arno as there doesn't seem to be much information about it online.

But I saw in the technical information for this site a picture of the same Super Arno controller and receiver I have, and it says it works for a CED player too, to control it wirelessly.
Can someone explain how this would be done please? Do you have to modify it?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Welcome!

I think your first step should be to go back and take a look at those two pages again:

http://www.cedmagic.com/tech-info/remote-control/f-g-remote.html

and

http://www.cedmagic.com/tech-info/remote-control/f-g-remote-install.html

Tom Howe (who runs CEDMagic) gives very detailed explanations with loads of pictures of how this can all be done, and even offers an inexpensive kit with all the parts (except joystick) that you would need.

Not only that, I have always found Tom to be extremely friendly and helpful, and willing to answer questions not found on the site itself.

Short answer: it does not appear that the joystick or receiver of your Super Arno need to be modified; the cable to the player simply plugs directly into the back of the receiver unit.
