I have two RCA SelectaVision players and 273 discs.
These came from a deceased family member who got the discs from a video rental
business, probably when the format was discontinued.

One or two of the discs are RCA demos, and there are several two disc sets. At lest
one of the players worked the last time I tried it over a year ago. No guarantees on
the players or any of the discs.

I would like to dispose of these for some consideration greater than zero, if possible Smile
I am trying to avoid taking them to the dump!

Can you offer any suggestions?

I live in San Diego, CA. I do NOT want to ship them. I would be willing to discuss transfer options with anyone in Southern CA.

I forgot to give any details on the players...

RCA SGT 075
s/n SGT075 302 22 6812 (mfg date unknown)
This player would play a disc the last time I tried it.

RCA SJT 200, s/n 343426121, manufactured in October 1983
This player does NOT work, and makes a strange (mechanical) sound when a disc is inserted.

I do not have the time or interest in fixing these. I believe that they could be made to work with a little TLC. I DID have them both working several years ago, but have lost interest.

Once again, I am willing to transfer these to someone in LA, Orange, San Diego, or Riverside counties.

I need to unload them before the end of the year.

Thanks!
