| I'm just curious how companies like Vestron, MCA, and Playboy manufactured CEDs. Did RCA actually press them or did these other companies all have the equipment to do it? |

CBS Records had their own pressing plant also- most Vestron and Fox discs were made there. Discs made there don't have the copyright message stamped in the middle like the RCA-made discs do. When the format was on its way out the equipment was used to make LPs, which there was a higher demand for at the time, or so I've heard. _________________ Videodisc and stereo sound- there's no better value around! |
