A Craigslist listing went up for some discs in Reading, MA. It is listed as Laserdiscs, but you can see from the picture that they're really CEDs! I sent a note to the seller and invited him to stop by the forum to drum up some interest, but follow the link if you're interested:

I've emailed the winner in case he's not on this forum, as maybe he's willing to let one of those two NIB Hitachi styli go to one of us!

Either way, a very nice lot - first time I've seen 3 Hitachi styli in one lot, especially with 2 brand new ones! I hope they are brand new and not old ones that have been replaced and kept though... but he can always retip them if so.

I saw that- funny how he said it retailed for $3199, and now he wants $4999 for it! This stuff only DEPRECIATES in value. Meanwhile I can't even sell my 1995 Mitsubishi 40-inch CRT set for $100, which I paid $2500 for when it was new!

Beetlescott,

The remote for the SKT400 and SJT400 players look similar to the one here. Also, this remote does not work with SGT250 or SJT300 players. I will email you a picture of the 400 remote.

Also, the remotes for the SGT250/SJT300 will not work on a 400 player.

Found this listing for the first VHS VCR (didn't know RCA's was the very first, I thought it would've been from JVC.) Starting bid is only $699- wonder if this is the same guy who tried to sell that projection TV for around $3000? He can't tell the difference between "their" and "there", so that alone should make one wary of giving him that much money. Laughing

I have a new in the box SFT100 and I have that exact catalog binder filled with CED titles. I got them together from someone who had a father that was an RCA salesman. I think I paid about $100 for them.
