I'm a newbie, but I searched the FAQs and posts here and couldn't find an answer, so here is my question (and please pardon me if I am violating any rules of posting):

Has anyone watched the NBC highlights film of the 1980 World Series that was released in 1981? I picked up a copy on eBay a couple years ago, and, I will admit, I have no Selectavision player with which to watch it. (It had nice cover art, plus I'm a completist when it comes to Phillies things, which is the true reason I bought it!) I notice that it has an NBC logo on it and mentions Joe Garagiola on the cover, which makes me think it is not the official World Series film put out by Major League Baseball but rather something that NBC put together from their broadcast. NBC did this at least one other time--I have a 1989 World Series highlights VHS tape from NBC that is different than the official World Series film.

I'd be interested if anyone has seen this and can tell me what exactly it contains. Is it NBC highlights? How long is it? I'm not sure that I have the time or money at this point to buy a player on eBay just to watch it, although I find this site fascinating, and at some point I may become a full-fledged CED fan.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
