Hello everyone, I am new to this community but am really getting into Videodiscs. I have talked to Blind Fury and he has helped me get a working player. I recently picked up a massive collection and in it were enough doubles that I am trying to get some of these to other people that also collect. Here is a list of the doubles that I have so far that are sealed. If anyone is interested in any of them please let me know. I was thinking $6 each and shipping based on weight, but if you wanted a few then we could figure something out. I listed some on ebay as well and realized after a few hours of listing that it was probably the folks on here that would be interested anyway. Look forward to talking with you.

Im curious on Movies that have double records...
Does the player buffer a bit of movie so you can switch discs and not have any interruption?? |

No, there's no CED player like that. You must change sides.
If that's important to you and you still want to remain analog, you can only do that with tape and LD. And in the case of LD, for movies on more than one disc. you'd need a Pioneer LD-W1, one of which I picked up last week at an estate sale.
And then if you have an LD player that allows still frame on all types of discs and/or disc side changes the still frame is most often a digital image.
But anyway, the whole system of the CED is so interesting and unique that I think an old-school person like yourself would appreciate having a CED player and some CEDs to play just to sort of fill out your analog collection. CEDs, in my opinion are the ultimate end of Edisons phonograph, since they use a groove and stylus. I'm sure Edison would have been amazed and pleased since he, and his employees, invented and/or improved upon the phonograph and motion picture camera and projector.
If you have RF input on your TV, and also depending upon the type of TV, My suggestion is yoiu get an SJT 090 or SJT 100 to start with, as they are pretty sleek and stylish, or even an SJT 200. But if you have older types of equipment, you might prefer the wood grain stylings of the SFT/SGT models. Or even the very 1980s look of the Hitachi/Sears or Toshiba/Wards players.
You don't need to collect every disc out there, just particular ones you would enjoy seeing most, like Goonies. |

Do you still have:
War of the Worlds
Mommie Dearest ( Double Disc)
Star Trek Balance of Terror/ Mirror, Mirror
Also, you know that they can be shipped media mail, which is cheaper the normal mail and decent shipping times. _________________ Own three CED's and looking to keep them running forever. |

I would really be interested in the Kenny Loggins and Diana Ross titles.
My only drawback is that I won't have any money until the first.
I will email you. _________________ A New Vista of RCA Victor COLOR! |
