|
|
Hi all:
I'm brand new to this forum, and if all goes well (if I get the right answer to my questions) I'll go away eventually. Why? Because my wife is in the process of dubbing our 800+ CEDs to DVD. All those CEDs will then have to go somewhere, and NOT to the county dump. We'll likely try to sell them in batches on eBay.
What I need to know: how are CEDs to be boxed and shipped? None of the USPS flat-rate boxes fit. How do USA readers here who ship CEDs do so? What can you recommend for boxes and rates?
Thanks in advance. |

[size=18]Hello Rico,
CEDatum has safely shipped many videodiscs and we have a recommendation for you.
First - take advantage of the US Mail Media Mail rate - CED's qualify for the Media Mail rate.
We have found that the most cost effective shipment is a box of 10. A cardboard box of dimensions 16" x 14" x 4" will hold 10-11 discs with bubble wrap padding to protect the caddy edges and corners.
The 16x14x4 box can be obtained from ULINE or similar on-line packing material companies.
FYI - the original RCA box shipment was a box of 10 discs.
Hope this helps- Don at CEDatum.
