CED VideoDisc and Player Discussion

Hi to all!
I'm a long time listener, first time caller.

A big thank you to Tom Howe for his unflagging attention and enthusiasm to all things CED. I've been following the CED forum since I got my players (SKT-400, SKT-200 and SFT-100) and 400 discs in April of 2005. It's taken me this long to post a message because...well, I've been very busy!

Now that I've started - and with such a backlog - I'll probably be posting random (but hopefully on-topic!) ramblings regularly. I'll just start with my introduction to CEDs.

As an original Beatlemaniac (saw 'em at Shea Stadium in 1966, etc.) I picked up the Let It Be CED at some forgotten flea market eons ago, but had no player or interest in getting one. Once eBay came along, I stumbled upon the auction of Liberace's personal CED player (a Toshiba.) It went, as I recall for $88 and although I didn't bid I was bitten!
