i just got a copy of the sts 5 6 and 7 mission reports and its listed as very rare, but how rare is very rare? i didnt buy it for its rarity i bought it because i wanted it, i didnt find out it was rare till later, but there are only 42 titles listed as such...

This is a common question about the rarity status of discs on the CED Magic database. The rarity of a disc according to the database was determined by Tom the creator of the site who just rated the discs according to how common or rare they were to comeby according to him. It is just as a general guideline of how rare most of the discs are. It is not based on production number or data of any kind. Use accordingly, results may vary.

I think they're partially based on a survey he did several years ago, where he asked everyone to check off the titles they had. I remember responding to it, but it would be different if I did it now since I have every regular title Smile
