The picture on my SKT-400 seems to be a tad on the bright side. I tried a new stylus and hooked it to another TV. Is there an adjustment for this. |

There is a resistor, R3202, that can be adjusted to set the peak-to-peak video level, but your problem could also be due to a defective U6103 OSD chip. Failure of this chip gives the video a washed out appearance, and sometimes the video appears normal for a few seconds to a few minutes after the player is first turned on.
