And it's in black and white- that TV has a VCR built-in so it's obviously not a black and white TV. _________________ Videodisc and stereo sound- there's no better value around! |

Back to the SFT-100: maybe there is another component off screen that we cant see and it is feeding the picture. Or the VHS tape is recorded in black and white. Any other ideas? |

I wish I knew.... they have added more description including this.
The unit works and I played a couple movies on our old black & white TV (no antenna) just to get some photos for the listing. They played great but will look much better on color TVs with an antenna or cable. The photos show the movies playing and the digital display working.
Something just doesn't sit right. I have no idea what though hahah _________________ I dont own

Most were, but there were small portable that could be run on 12 volts also that would go in a car or van to keep the kids occupied, and they were B&W due to lighter weight and less power consumption. This looks like one of those.
I had a CED player with a bad display circuit that played discs but only showed -- on the time indicator. |

Pennysaver, ha! More like Dollarspender.
What a putz: "I don't have cables to check it out"
It only takes an RF cable, dummy.
We'll probably see that price drop by 90%. |

Its so funny to hear the "I cant check it". By now most people have spent at least half, if not all of their life with a tv, and somehow they have 0 cords that will hook a device up to your tv? Take the rf cable off your satellite or cable box or your digital converter now. There is a cord somewhere, if not you know a chinese wally world is right around the corner! _________________ I dont own

I read once on eBay that someone "didn't know how to hook up a player" when all it takes is one RF wire. To me it sounded like they were hiding something about the player's condition |

That's often the case, but I have seen people who were so inept that they could barely turn on a TV set and change the channel or adjust the picture setting, let alone operate a TV accessory.
Here's the same bozo advertising in craigslist, I sent him a note suggesting he get an RF cable and to do some research on prices:

And he's got it stretched on a widescreen TV- people who do that should have their licenses to operate video equipment taken away. _________________ Videodisc and stereo sound- there's no better value around! |

I think that one's been pointed out before. The "Please do not offer me any less for it if I decide to accept anything less then my asking price I would let the buyer know in person." seems mighty familiar. Guess he hasn't had much luck selling it so far! _________________ Videodisc and stereo sound- there's no better value around! |

Bought from a RENTAL house! Probably not worth it at 1/10th the price. |

From Craigslist in Gloucester, Virginia. Good luck getting your "100% profit!" All of the discs are stacked flat as well! Lower the price significantly! |
