The playback arm for my SGT-100 is no longer functioning. I've asked a friend here in Maryland to tinker with it and he said the following about it:

"The problem in your player is in the arm. The pickup coil should have a magnet in the center....I searched and found it....crazy glue wasn't helpful in this case. I removed the arm from a good working player and installed it temporarily in yours....the display now shows numbers. "

Does anyone here have an extra one of these parts? Or know of a good way to re-affix the magnet in the coil?
