| Out of curiousity, how many of you owned a CED player before you owned a VCR? I owned my first CED player that I bought in 1982 at Sears about 2 years before my first VCR. CED players were a lot cheaper than a VCR at that time. |

| They were a lot less than VCRs at the time. Since Dad worked at RCA in the CED plant, he always had a CED player around, but our 1st VCR cost over $500. |

I bought my CED player in 1982. At the time, VCRs were up towards 1000 bucks. I didn''t buy a VCR until about 1986. Another big selling point was the CEDs were much cheaper than VHS tapes. I never cared as much for any VCR I owned as I did my CED player. _________________ 1000 titles
