That's what happens when two dolts get in bidding war. Each one thinks they'll never have another chance to get it again, until it comes time to pay up and the winner realizes he was behaving like he did back in Jr High. Dufus.
Anyway, you can get the special edition LD for way less, correct aspect ratio and both Dolby Surround 5.1 and AC3 5.1 on it for 1/3 that price, or the LD fullscreen version for 1/4 that price, or the DVD for $5 and wait for a better buy on the CED.
I once had a AM/FM radio that was moderately rare I got from a wrecking yard for less than $20 that went over $400 in an ebay bidding war, back before the recession. Usually that same radio went for $40 to $50 if I was fortunate. |

I still need to watch my copy of that just to see if it's in decent condition- I got it in a bunch of discs where most of them were pretty thrashed. I'd hate to have to find a better copy of Zombie as it seems pretty collectible- I've seen it go for decent bucks on Ebay before but never that much. _________________ Videodisc and stereo sound- there's no better value around! |
