Greetings. I am an A/V archivist who is in the process of getting my master's in library science. I am working on a paper about preservation challenges with obsolete video technology. I'm using as my model CED's because of my love for the format. Would anyone like to share their preservation/restoration tips or experiences with regard to both the discs and the players? Any advice for the novice or librarian who wishes to preserve this technology? Where appropriate I will use your information and credit you in my paper.
