I have 2 of the romotes that work with the SGT250, and the SJT300. The removte control for each of these models is exactly alke,..except for one small detail......One has the words VIDEO DISC REMOTE in blue, the other, in red. Has anyone ever noticed this? I didn't until yesterday. I got my 300 remote out of the box, and laid it down on the shelf with all my other remotes, and, later, I piced one up only to notice I had put them together. I am thinking, from memory that the SGT250 is the blue one, and the SJT300 is the red. Anyone have any ideas???

Yes, the 250 is the blue one. They both work interchangeably though. RCA TVs of this era had the same style remotes, and supposedly they can be adjusted via internal controls to control videodisc players.

I have one of each as well. A blue labeled one for my SGT250 and an orange labeled one for my SJT300.

Beetle, I sent you the remote that came with that SJT300 I sent you, which should have been an orange labeled remote.
