CED VideoDisc and Player Discussion

I know lately people have been looking to transfer their collections to good homes due to lack of space or other reasons. I'm looking to see if there is anyone in my neck of the woods who is in that boat.

Back in the mid 90's I started the CED Preservation Project with Telecom Technologies Incorporated, the company has changed since then, but the project has remained intact in the same place.

So if are in my neck of the woods and are looking to move your collection to a good home, where they will be kept safe and cared for please feel free to drop me a line.

How do I become a member? I'm in Sacramento CA and have every consumer title issued, and still watch them (started collecting them in 1993).

There isn't a membership per say, just we have a collection here, and I, too would rather see people drop off their unwanted discs and players to the project versus sending them to the landfill.

I'm a hopeful collector. I just bid on my first CED disc and I don't even have a player yet. I bought one new back in the 80s, the first stereo one. My zipcode is 40701
