Hi, I'm Chris(35/M/Atlanta)

I am a video-head, I've been collecting and hunting since the beginning of this century...

First memory actually experiencing different movie formats outside of movie theaters: Mid 80's at my neighbor's house, I was amazed at all the BetaMAX Movies he had.. Me and a bunch of friend's used to always hangout at his place, cause he had all the cool and new electronic's.. haha

Players I have now:
5 LaserDisc Players: 2 Pioneers 1 hooked up is a Pioneer CLD-S201 (1 DiscoVideo from 1984), A Philips LaserDisc Player (Forgot the model number) up for Trade as well and 1 Realistic
(Willing to part with 3 for trade for another BetaMAX Player or Hi8/Video8 Player/VCR or an agreeable price, ask for more info)

Possibly 2 BetaMAX:
I say possibly because I forgot if I just donated an old one to a Thrift Store because it was in shambles and poor condition, it's a mid/high-end 2 piece Sony the black one with the digital tuner and optional second piece for additional audio/video - input/outputs... 1 hooked up is a Sony BetaMAX SL-2300..
(Willing to part with the 1(or 2) for trade for another BetaMAX Player or Hi8/Video8 Player/VCR or an agreeable price, ask for more info.. The one in shambles would be on a as-is/parts and repair basis I can tell you though it does still power on and play tapes... One of the Co-axels is loose though)

1 RCA CED Select-A-Vision Player

A given of course that I have DVD Recorder/VHS Combo, BluRay and HD-DVD Player..

^---All with a bunch of movies..

Looking for: A Video8/Hi8 Player and Movies..

Movies/Tv:
Movies-
Any jus about, Even some of the soppy girly tearjerker movies, Horror, Comdey, Action, Romance, Drama (Not a lot of them but a few) & last but not least any good Cheesie B-Side Horror Movie...

You sound pretty cool Chris. Isn't ALL METAL drinkin' Metal?? Heh heh...
Are you on Facebook? I am. I have a shitload of outdated technology as well. No betamax though. I've got 5 Ced players, vhs , & a pioneer laserdisc player. I also have 3 turnatables & over 5000 pieces of wax. I'm a dj here in Vancouver. I don't play much metal. Mostly old school house, funk and soul. Love horror flicks and just about every other genre. Drop me a line if ya like.

Cheers!
