Hello CEDMagic!

My name is Michael. I am a 29 year old from Connecticut who has a soft spot for vintage electronics. I am an IT student at the University of Phoenix and am completing my 8th class TODAY. I plan to complete 3 Associates Degrees within the next 4 years, all in IT, with one general focus, one specializing in Visual Communications and the last in NetWorking.

I found one of these machines in an antique store/junk shop several years ago. They wanted $50 for a player with a milk-crate full of discs that had very obviously had something spilled on them. I told a friend about it and we talked awhile and I forgot they existed. I have not seen one since then.

Yesterday, our local Catholic school had a fund-raising yardsale. Items were donated to the sale and all proceeds went to the school.

I picked up an SGT100 and 6 discs:

9 To 5 {24543109990} C
Count of Monte-Cristo, The {76476005191} C
Enter the Dragon {76476031251} U (have watched this one already)
Hunchback of Notre Dame, The {76476004026} U
Revenge of the Pink Panther [RCA] {76476014193} U
Sea Wolves, The (2) {24543707295} U (DISK 1 ONLY)

The school was happy with the offer I made for the entire lot, but I wished I could give more. I walked away with it for $10

I connected the unit to my TV, inserted and removed "Enter the Dragon" and flipped the switch to play. My wife and I sat and watched the whole movie! It started out staticy but soon cleared up, as you would see while a VCR found it's tracking. The rest of the movie played well.

So now I am hooked! I have already replied to someone's offer for a player and discs relatively close to me geographicaly. If the deal goes through I may have some discs for sale in the near future. I will post here before placing any ads elsewhere.

Have a Great Day!

Michael, A.K.A. Blaise (Preferred online)
