CED VideoDisc and Player Discussion

Hi,

Talking with John at cedatum (who's been very helpful and lived up to his reputation, incidentally, while servicing my stylus), he says that the fringing I'm getting on the inner part of some of my discs may be because of a problem in the delay line in the drop-out compensator circuit on my Hitachi VIP-201P. Which is great, but I have no idea where on the motherboard this is. I do, however, see a ton of presets which are begging to be twiddled with.

Does anyone have any service information or preferably schematics for the board? I'd like to know if any of these could do with twiddling a bit, and/or where to start looking for other problems. It may hopefully get better when I recap the whole board anyway.
