Hi everyone,
I have been looking for this animated version, of the c.s. lewis classic, for about 3 months. If anyone has a copy, or knows someone who does I will gladly take it off their hands:)
Thanks and God bless! |

I have a copy that I found in a lot at a local thrift store in SC. It was previously a rental disc and I haven't viewed it yet so I'm not certain of its condition, but I will check. |

Hi again,
I watched parts of the disc tonight to check its condition. It looks as if it has seen relatively little use for a rental disc. There is some noise in the picture from about 20 to 40 minutes of play on each side, so the caddy has probably been stacked improperly, crushing the grooves. However, the effect is somewhat subtle and I would not expect it to hinder one's enjoyment of the presentation, and is less pronounced than on many rental discs I have seen. The mastering/transfer seems of mediocre quality to me, but the disc itself seems to be in good shape. I did not see any problems with skipping or carrier distress while viewing it. The caddy itself is in relatively good shape. There are some marks and "dirty spots" on the label; I do not know if these can be cleaned up. The label shows slightly greater wear on the caddy's edge. There are 2 additional labels apparently applied at the rental store which would harm the caddy label if removed. There is a sticky spot where there must have previously been a price tag.
As this disc is "very rare", I'd like to work out a trade and am interested in whether you have any unusual (meaning unpopular movie, not necessarily rare disc) fantasy or sci-fi movies on CED. |
