|
|
I have repaired several SelectaVision units with no audio by replacing the audio demodulator IC. However, I have come across an SKT-090 that refuses to accept this repair. It does have VERY low garbled audio but only occasionally - like for a split second every minute or so. Any help would be appreciated. _________________ Derek Tombrello

| The only thing I can think of that I've seen cause such a problem is the green trim capacitor located near the audio demodulator IC in some players. But then again, I'm not sure if the SKT-090 has that part. If you see such a part near that chip, you may want to check it out and see if adjusting it or tampering with it makes any difference. |
