Hey folks. Nobody bid on the lot of 145 CED Movies so I've relisted them. I know if any of you were interested the first time around you're probably hoping I've lowered the starting bid. Unfortunately at $100 I'll just be breaking even on this endeavor so I really can't lower it. As I noted the on the relisting, this is a labor of love! I really REALLY wish there was a way I could lower the shipping price but that's impossible too. If anyone's still interested, here's the address:

THANKS!!!!

I looked at those discs and they look nice as if they came from an original owner and are not rentals. But to tell you the truth, I think you'd have better luck splitting them up into small lots or listing them individually for like 99 cents each. Reasons being, shipping for that many discs is boxes is a pretty high cost at one shot, and the boxes will weigh something like 55 lbs each. The USPS will really not handle media rate boxes that heavy with care. You'll end up with damaged corners, cracked caddies, even with the protection, and have unhappy buyer and will have to probably give a refund, risk negative feedback, etc. Of course, pickup would be great. The USPS has conveyor machines that are not forgiving on heavy boxes.

Also, many of us who collect would be interested in certain discs and would not want to buy the whole lot for certain ones. Even though it means more time and work, breaking them into smaller lots or individual items will probably get them sold eventually and you can still charge a very low media rate, and make enough to cover the packing. I personally don't like to ship more than 10 discs in one box and prefer 5-6 just because of the typical mishandling of large, heavier media rate boxes. You probably ought to look into having an ebay store for a short while in which you can list smaller lots at a Buy It Now price for just 3 cents per listing for a 30 day period. There is a small monthly fee for this special rate, but you can put your store on vacation when you have nothing to list and not pay that monthly fee. Of course you don't have to think of doing this if your listing gets a bid.

Hey there! Thanks for the in depth message, I really appreciate it! And I think you're 100% right. If no one bids this time around I will do just what you said... maybe break the movies up into categories by genre. I guess we'll see if anyone bids and then I'll take it from there. THANKS AGAIN!
