| My first large screen TV was a Sony KP-5040 front projection that I purchased in december or 1983. I retired it december of 2007 and it still played great. I sold it it in a garage sale for $20.00. I payed $1700.00 for it. I bought a new Sony SXRD rear projection for $1600.00 in december of 2007. It is amazing that after 25 years , that I could purchacse a better TV for a $100.00 less. |
