I got some old players that I've scrapped. I have a Zenith VP2000, a Sears (don't remember the model number, but it's the one that's pretty much just an RCA SFT-100), an RCA SJT-300 and an RCA SJT-090. Some of the boards have a few missing or broken parts, and the SJT-300 has a bad CPU. I threw them away, but then I pulled them back out of the trash in case anyone needed parts from these. I also have a replacement SJT-300 CPU in the box, as well as an SGT-200 stereo decoder board. If anyone needs any parts from any of these, please let me know. I'll probably just charge shipping. If not, they'll probably go back in the garbage can, soon.

Okay, but I do want to mention (sorry if I forgot to mention this before) that they are mostly disassembled and probably no longer have all the parts (screws, springs, etc.). I had at one time intended to convert the SJT-090 to an SJT-300 using parts from the SJT-300 that I had, which was in really bad condition. Again, I appologize, because I just noticed now that I did forget to say that the boards are pulled from the chassis. Now the Zenith and Sears chassis are pretty much assembled, with the exception of the signal processor board on the bottom, which I had pulled in an attempt to do a stereo conversion. But the SJT's are mostly disassembled. Before I took them apart, all of the units (except the SJT-300) were working, but some of the coils and variable capacitors have since been damaged. If you (rsrendfeld) or anyone else are still interested, I'll certainly contact you by e-mail if you want to arrange to have the parts shipped. I should also mention that they all won't have a working stylus with them - I believe I do have one (possibly two) NOS stylus for the SJT's with maybe about an hour or two of use on it, and I have a Toshiba stylus that fits the SFT and SGT type units, but it does have a lot of hours on it and may not provide the best picture quality.

Hi there! I see that Ron has already requested the j300 and j090 assuming those are gone, I would be interested in the G200 stereo board that you still have. You can contact me directly at duckie909@hotmail.com and we can go from there. I appreciate you offering these parts up for the hobbiest. Very Happy

Sincerely,

Howard

I'm glad to get so many quick responses for SJT parts. No one's interested in SFT-type parts? I still have 2 chassis that are pretty much complete, except for the bottom board and maybe some of the screws and the roller on the top. One had some color dropout problems, but the other ran great (other than an audio problem in the bottom board that I removed). Oh, and I hate to mention this on this forum, but if any of you also collect DiscoVision or LaserDisc stuff, I also have a limited number of PR 7820 parts, a VP-1000 that's complete and assembled EXCEPT for the laser power supply (which blew up) and an LD-660 pickup assembly (in pretty good shape, except the grating may be out of alignment).

I still have several Zenith & Sears (SFT-100 compatible) parts. Please - anyone need them? I really hate to throw these away, but I'm short on space, trying to get rid of stuff...and these player parts may be the next thing to go...
