Turntable spins up after a disc is loaded, and time indicator moves to the start-of-play position, but no video is seen and the indicator moves back to the standby position after about a minute.
Stylus is checked and was okay.
Who can help me with this problem or have a service-manual.

Has the player been serviced recently? If so, were the two belts replaced? - Reinhart |

This behavior is standard on these players when something is wrong with them. Are you sure the stylus is OK? It's been a while since I looked at one of these, but I got one that did this and ended up working after I played with some of the gain controls on one of the boards inside. I know there's one that will adjust the stylus pickup, so if it's in one position you'll get nothing but if you adjust it you can get it to play if the stylus is still good. Don't go tweaking anything before figuring out what everything does though! _________________ Videodisc and stereo sound- there's no better value around! |

The stylus is okay, checked by CEDatum.
Thanks for your tip but do you have more detailled information about the gain controls? Henk

|
