[The Sarnoff Collection]

Hello from the Sarnoff Collection at The College of New Jersey aka https://davidsarnoff.tcnj.edu/.

We plan to open our "Vinyl Videos" exhibition tracing the genesis, introduction, challenges, and ultimate failure of the RCA VideoDisc in early April. The exhibition will run through next fall. Please stand by for updates on the show and related events.

Meanwhile, if you have direct knowledge of the development of this ambitious technology and/or have made (or would like to make) in-person or online (Zoom, YouTube, etc.) presentations about the VideoDisc phenomenon please get in touch with the details!

We plan to post regular updates; we hope to add to our collection of pre-production components and documentation; we welcome feedback here and/or on Sarnoff social media!

Very cool! You should ask for help on the Facebook page, which is much more active. But I know I have come across other little tidbits from people who worked at the plants in these forums and scattered around this site. There is a lot of info hiding out there.

I hope someone from the group is able to go to this and take pictures for those of us who are too far away. I just checked and it's a 20 hour drive for me, or a $800 flight, so unfortunately I won't be able to see it. It sounds amazing though.
