I'm just curious if the clicking/popping while playing a disc drives anyone else nuts? I'm from the LP record era so it really annoys me to hear the clicks and pops. I just got a sae5000a it's a device that removes the clicks from playing a record and it helps quite a bit for records. I haven't hooked it up yet. The strangest thing is it was mailed priority mail and got delivered Sunday night at about midnight??? Anyway the one problem I can think of is it does put a slight delay to the audio,so it may throw off the sync between the audio and video. So I'll have to hook it up and see how it goes.
For the second question does anyone know if some of the clicks are actually imposed onto the disc? It makes me wonder how did say a movie get put onto the disc? Did they somehow have a machine playing a 35mm film and then put it on the disc?? And that movie had sound defects (clicking/popping) that was just put on the ced along with the rest of the audio and video? |

the disc will likely quiet down after a few plays if its really bad. but honestly, i dont think you can get every audible nuance out of the audio, or video for that matter. for that reason i find the format charming myself _________________ (2)Sears 274 & 934(80150,10&11350), sft100, sgt250, sjt 090-400, vp550, VDR3000, VP2000 & 4000

Manufacturing processes involved in CED production are covered in You Tube videos and also described on the main site.
