I located and bought 2 servo belts there not pre stretched but I may have an option to fix that by that by removing the motor and drilling new holes to mount it closer to other shaft, I had spoke with a friend of the family that was into ced many years ago says may not be a good idea to try but I figure I will do what must be done to make it work again.
And my family's friend has 1000 ced movies to give me he lost his machines in the flood of 2003 here |

i wouldn't change the position of the motor. http://www.cedmagic.com/home/products.html that is the page with instructions to have 2 pre-stretched belts sent to you for free. Or you may try it with the belt you have and see if it works. Or put one of yours on a 1" dowel for a month or so and try it. the site states he uses a 15/16" dowel for a number of months but I don't know why a 1" dowel for a month would hurt anything. drilling new holes and what not, I'd save that as a really last ditch effort. |

I tried stretching the belt for about month now and its still quite tight the motor wont spin so I did mod it to allow the motor to mounted closer to the other gear and shaft and it works fine |
