received my CED holiday swag today. i charged the power bank up and its ready to go.
but the holiday gift item i've used the most was last years thumb drive with the CED logo.
in my vehicle the entertainment system has an USB connector so i loaded up all my music onto the drive
and enjoy it in the trk. i don't think i'll ever be able to completely fill all its available space.
so a a big thanks to Tom and CED magic for those fine gifts

Yeah that thumb drive has been very useful...I use it and another one I have to transfer files and leave a 160 GB Western Digital Passport for more permanent archiving/backups between several PCs.

And mine was a GREEN one

I got it in the mail today...I guess I'm lost in the 90s though. I don't own a single thing to use it on. I just bought a Canon PowerShot G2 to replace an A95 that had the bad CCD imaging chip issue and was long out of recall and no replacement chip and none of my Sony Mavica FD models seem to have it, never had cellphone service to lose the phone, no iThings.



I'll charge it and take it with me on Christmas though, in case we have an emergency on the way over to Mom's and their phone goes dead.

I'll look at the camera again, think I missed it maybe, nope it's a 3-pin hidden under a panel like sort of like a PC fan connection...maybe Canon has something. It's really nice and thank you very much, Tom, I must be an ELMER Luddite though

Since my mom only has a cellphone for phone service I gave it to her so she hopefully never has a completely dead phone and I can reach her okay. In that way it helps me too. I showed her how to use it and how to charge it on her granddaughter's PC.

And me? I got new bed linens, pillows, towels and washrags, which I had asked for and needed badly, and lots of leftovers, which that granddaughter/my niece cooked all of, and she's an excellent cook, needs that big white chef's hat now

I just can't afford a mobile phone. Thank you for the thoughtful gifts each year, Tom.
