I think I could get this one going, but I am not willing to put more money in it. I have been using it as a table for CED disk repair. BTW I am going to post my first ever youtube video today displaying some results.

I'm not releasing my methods just yet, still got some tweaking to do, and they aren't perfect. I have wasted time and ruined discs, they probably had no hope though.

Oh man, last post in here was 3 years ago. Well here goes. I am selling 1700 discs and 4 players. There are almost no duplicate titles so this is a great instant collection. There are also 15-20 RCA Property Stamp discs included. The players are a beautifully working SJT400 with remote. A like new in box SGT200 that also works fantastic. And finally 2 SFT100 players, the flagship of CED. The SFT players need some work to be fully operational. Pickup for this collection is in Mankato, MN. Please email me me if you are interested and I can send some pictures your way. Thanks.

Is anyone here selling any MCA DiscoVision titles?

I know this is a CED forum, but I've exhausted the Laserdisc groups and they aren't too hot on DiscoVision anyway.

Thanks!

I would do broader searches to find DiscoVision titles...they can be such a fiasco though that it's honestly better to find the title in a rerelease later or another format. It sometimes amazes me that LD survived at all, but for a hard fought battle to save it until DVD was ready and that was 15 years later. Pioneer struggled then as now and maybe LD and CD were their saving graces. In the end Pioneer has fallen to the mergers and acquisitions necessary to keep the electronics industry alive. it's still there but like Kenwood and JVC it's not at all the same.

An SJT-400 with correct remote is currently listed on eBay with a starting bid of $50 http://www.ebay.com/itm/252609388727

It requires service: Does not power off and discs do not eject.

The same seller lists another of the same model at the same opening price, also possibly broken.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-RCA-SELECTAVISION-CED-VIDEODISC-PLAYER-MODEL-SJT-400-IN-BOX-w-REMOTE/252609375921

The differences in the ads are that the first shows a copy of Thunderball and the other Casablanca.

The seller is located in New York State.

Hello folks,

I have a RCA SKT090 and SGT101 for sale. They work but I'm not sure how to determine their condition so I will say they are good for their age. Price is $75.00 each, plus actual shipping.

I have the following movies, the 2 following the title is the number of disks, anything in () is a note. These disks have been stored indoors and are in good to very good condition. Price is $5.00 for single disk and $8.00 for 2 disks pair plus actual shipping.

No shipping charge if you pick up in Cincinnati, Ohio.
