CED VideoDisc and Player Discussion

I have read on the cedmagic.com web site that CEDs were produced in 2 factories. Most of the discs were produced in Indiana, and there was another CED factory in Georgia. I am curious as to whether or not there is any way to tell if a CED was produced in Indiana or Georgia. Does any one know?

Good question, I thought all the discs were made in Indiana?

The ones made in Georgia, which was part of the CBS Records pressing plant, do not have the copyright notice stamped in the middle of side 1 as the RCA-made ones do. The Georgia factory mostly made discs for Fox and Vestron, though of course those switched to RCA after the GA plant shut down. (They gave increasing demand for LPs as a reason to discontinue CEDs, as they were made on converted record presses and they were switched back to making records afterwards.)

I don't recall buying a lot of LPs in 1983, mostly cassettes and 45s.

Believe it or not, but there are 5 record stores in Louisville, and they are all on one street!! (or road) Bardstown RD

I know enough Spanish to make me not interested in dinner after reading that. Why on earth would someone spam this site? Seems like a limited audience and therefore not a good place to try these games.

Spammers don't care, they are there just to post garbage as they are told. If ethics or audience size were involved there would be no spam.

Actually, spammers and trolls are more into invading and taking over stuff, at least they were on Usenet.
