CED VideoDisc and Player Discussion

I've uploaded the highest quality MPEG4 file possible of the RCA SelectaVision VideoDisc Player and Disc Manufacturing Tour to Google Video. At upload this file was 1.3 GB in size with a native resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, so keep that in mind if you have a slow Internet connection:

I recommend downloading and installing the Google Video Player, which can be obtained via the link at the right side of the above page. This plays the video better than a web browser window, and if you keep the size of the player window at about 640 x 480, the quality looks as good as watching the tour straight off the VideoDisc. You can also watch it full-screen, which I tried on a 30-inch monitor. It didn't look very good at that size, but the Google Video Player did generate this impressive array of thumbnail images, allowing the tour to be jumped into at just about any desired point:
