Okay guys. I have worked my way through many issues but have just encountered a new one I have not experienced before. So my SJT 400 has a disc inside of it. The disc plays perfectly however when I hit the reject button the disc stops and the unload process symbol shows up but then the disc starts playing again and wont allow me to unload it. Ever had this happen anyone?

I have the service manuals for the SJT-400 player. Do you want a copy? Post your e-mail address and I will send the zip files to you. I got them off a web site that specializes in games.

You may have a problem with the Front Panel membrane switch assembly. I assume that when you pushed the REJECT button, this is the button on the player front panel ?. What happens when you push the STOP/REJECT button on the J400 Remote ? Does the player stop and eject the disc ?

just wondering, if you hold the reject button, will it complete the cycle? maybe the reject signal wont latch and when you let go it goes about as normal, does it doe the same when you hit reject on the remote?

[Gunner, please let us know if the player ejects the disc normally when the STOP/REJECT button on the REMOTE is pushed.
A disc is playing, push only the STOP/REJECT button on the Remote, not the REJECT button on the front panel of the player,

I suspect a bad membrane switch assembly inside the remote panel is causing your no eject problem. A few checks will help to isolate the problem for you.
