|
|
In the past year or so I have purchased five collections of CEDs ranging from 25 to 250+ discs. I bought an IKEA storage cabinet for them (recommended from a post on here last year). I finally got it put together and am now organizing my collection. I have noticed that there are variations in labels for some titles. I have been keeping the variation with the best artwork.
From what I can gather most of the CED titles are not worth trying to sell individually so I would estimate that there is not also much difference in value between the variations. Is there any real difference between the CBS Fox edition of a movie and the 20th Century Fox version, for example?
I have also acquired two players and 3-5 remotes. I will add model numbers later once I get the items better organized.
One of the cooler things I found out is that one of the collections I bought came from a guy named Bryan who said he worked for RCA back in the 80s in the support department for CEDs I believe. |

do you have rca property discs and stuff? typically it doesnt matter about the issuing label, some are same company just different format title, some are rca, and re-released by someone else. and i have found some want certain titles for certain reasons, like the original release of starwars didnt have the deathstar cut out of the cover picture, but the later release did, so people want the old release. but war games had 2 different releases i think and the full cover title is more wanted i think... _________________ Sears 274 & 934(80150,10&11350),sft100,sgt250,sjt090,100,101,200,300,400,vp550, VP4000!

Selecta, I don't think I have any RCA company stuff. I'll have to take a look when I get the discs all sorted. Man, one of the collections had a lot of music discs in it.
The RCA player I have is an SJT 400. The Hitachi I haven't gotten the number from yet, I have four RCA remotes, 2 digital command centers, a random access control center and a digital command center (still in the box). Plus two extra stylus's (styli??). Except for the Hitachi player all the equipment came from the guy who worked for RCA.
I'll add more details later. |

Are the RCA remotes the wired ones, or the ir remotes? _________________ SJT100
