So I recently acquired some interesting discs. I'm not really sure what they are. I know that they are some sort of test disc. I'm assuming they are random titles that they picked out of the production line to quality test. But I was also thinking that they're discs to test the quality of a master before production started. I'm not really sure and the seller wasn't sure. Note that the label for Foreplay says "Side to be tested: Not Tested." Does anyone know anything about these? What the codes mean? I'd love to know.

| I remember getting a batch of those from the ETF in Hilliard, Ohio. The batch came out of New England as far as I know. Kept one or two and gave the rest to Scordi in Baltimore. One of those was the Story of O, which I kept. There was no artwork, so it was still in-house at RCA and was probably set aside.....nearly forever. Craig, Greenbelt, MD |

damn i live in new england! scordi just had a "return, damaged" disc with a hand written label from CT and i got outbid on the damn thing! although i did get lucky last week and i got some blank caddys with rca property stamps on them with and without cutouts...
