This is a common problem with the J/K line of players. My family had two players out of 5 that had this problem.

CED Magic has some belts as well as CEDatum.

For CEDatum:
www.ccrtc.com/technology/cedatum
(find the link to contact them...they should send you an attachment by email of their parts & prices.)

For CED Magic
www.cedmagic.com
(there should be a link for replacement belts if you scroll down.)

Hope this helps! Good Luck!

On the SJT-100, the top cover will have to be removed. Remove the screws on the back side of the player and lift the cover off. Make sure that you remove any discs from the player prior to performing maintanence.

Once you have the top off, look to the right of the turntable. See the tracking mechanism? When the player is not in operation, the pick-up arm assembly will be tucked away under the controls of the player. To gain access to the stylus, you will need to turn one of the gears on the tracking mechanism to advance the pick-up arm forward. When the pick-up arm is completely on the turntable...stop.

There is a metal retainer locking the access panel to the stylus. You can easily pop this open by taking a small flat-head screwdriver and gently prying the retainer to the left. When you've done this, simply lift the access panel and there's your stylus!

To relatch the retainer when you are finished, pry on it again changing the direction to the right. Don't worry about return the pick-up arm to its original position as the player will do this when you turn it back on.

Hope this helps & Good Luck!
