CED VideoDisc and Player Discussion

I know there has been a lack of conversation on the forum and I'd like to get some good topics going here. This has been kinda a hot topic lately with some people posting some very high prices on inexpensive discs. I was just curious about when you guys look through discs on ebay, weather it be a specific title or you're just browsing, do you pay any attention to these high priced discs? When looking for a title do you already have a price in mind? What is too expensive? Do you wait for the good deals or if there is a slightly higher priced one listed do you just pull the trigger on it? What do you look for condition wise on the ebay discs? I'd love to hear all your thoughts and then I'll share mine. Thanks guys.

*on a side note, if you sell discs on ebay how do you pick a price?

Good question. I used to spend hours looking at discs on A.Jays Recyclery. he had good prices, and if you bought one from him, and it was bad, he never hesitated to make it right. As for the over inflated prices some people seem to think their discs are worth a heck of a lot more than the average bear. If consumers go on Ebay and see a discs that is grossly overpriced, say over 100 bucks, they must be pretty gullible. I mean, if you go on Ebay and type in CED and a title, you may find a bunch of the same title, If one is 128 bucks, and another 7.95, and maybe one more is 4.00, who in their right mind would go after one that was way out of range? I suppose they are out there. Not me though.

I tend to keep my eBay purchases under $5 for a disc, sometimes less depending on the title. But, there are some titles I would pay more for. I guess it just depends on the disc.
