There is a movie "So Wrong They're Right" about 8 track tape collectors.
The people in the movie remind me of some of the CED collectors I've met. It is a very funny & ODD(!) film.
I found the DVD of the movie at a local library.

It's an absolute must-see. The guy who made it also used to publish a "fanzine" type publication called 8-Track Mind. When he was talking about making it, I wrote in suggesting they issue it on CED videodisc. Smile

I'd love to make a similar film/video about CED if I had the time, money and resources.

I'm a filmmaker and have a strong interest in making a documentary of some kind about the CED history and collecting phenomenon. Perhaps we should talk? Send me an email: jjones7@uiuc.edu

And I've seen the 8 track movie. It's quite good and gave me the idea to someday make a CED movie.
