| Does anyone have a service manual for a VP100 that is on a PDF file? I have some questions on putting some things back together. |

| Probably not, but go ahead and ask your questions here. Many of us have been through the VP 100 or the Wards clone of it. |

| Could you take a picture of the left side of the top motherboard? I was looking to see what sequence the wires are in. I believe it is yellow/brown first, red second and the blue one third. The other question I have is the spindle in the middle of the turntable and how the turntable comes off. I took the spindle off, but didn't look at it really close before it came off. I am looking for a top down picture of the turntable if possible. Thank you in advance, I appreciate it!! |

| It will take me a day or so to do that. By left side, you mean left as facing the front of the player, correct? |

| Yes, that is correct. If you were standing in front of the player it would be to the left. Thank you for taking the time to do this. It is a really neat player and I would hate to fry something over my own stupidity. |

Check with Blindfury 420......I sent him a service manual for the VP 100 C last year and he likely still has it. Cheers

I have one and its one of the few I haven't scanned. I have been way to tied up with three things going on at once pretty much all summer and up until the past couple of weeks. I am very sorry for being ridiculously slow at the moment.. gunner can attest to that! _________________ I dont own

New life form to the forum, glad to be here.
I just rebelted a Wards ver and have OK loading and I/O response but no turntable motor drive, R505 a 12ohm 5watt resistor gets smoking hot in 1 minute. Motor runs disconnected w DC supply applied. I checked the power semi's on the chassis for shorts, nothing. I'm backed up on service and no more time for my personal toys, as is always the case. Anyone have this situation? |

Welcome but could you please find a tamer avatar for these forums?
One that isn't animated too.
PS While there aren't PMs, you can send emails through the forums or the listed contacts the members post. |

It didn't work effectively-I'm here every day, regardless. We didn't need sensationality to revive anything and actually, it hasn't been all that dead at all. Not to my perception, and I know a dead group if I'm in one, I'm in one elsewhere.
That avvie will be boring at one of my other groups though |
