CED VideoDisc and Player Discussion

So my wife and I love to go to antique shops, and "Peddlers" Malls on the weekends. There is a large one on I-65 close to INDY, we went to today. I found some very nice looking CEDs and some LASER DISCs. The ironic thing was The CEDs cost more than the LDs!!! The CEDs were 5.00 each, 2 of them were 8.00. all the LDs were 3.00 each. I ended up not getting either one because I found a Pioneer LD player CLD-M401 for 25.00!! It said it works. I got it home and it plays beautifully!!! I am thrilled with it! It is good when you get a good deal like that, isn't it. So now, I have 9 CED players, 1 Beta VCR, an HD-DVD player, 2 VHS VCRs, 2 Blu Ray players, 2 working LD players, and a record player. So much for Un Dead formats. Some time the moon hits just right, and the stars all line up just right, and you find that special deal.

Thanks, I had 2 bad days last week, and so far 0 bad days this week! I am counting on wearing this thing, (whatever it is,) out. . I am extrememly optimistic!
If anyone has need of a Pioneer Laser Disc Player that has the "auto flip" feature, (i'm sure there is a better way of describing it) I will be happy to part with mine for 50 bucks plus shipping. That deal comes with about 10 free laser discs. It is a decent player, it rattles a bit when it first starts. Other than that, it plays quite nicely, Remote is included. Just in case anyone is interested. I know this isn't a LD site, but I know some of you CED aholoics , do dabble in LDs as well. Shoot me an email if you are interested.
