Earlier today, I found this very long You Tube video of a speech by Tom Brokaw of NBC News & some RCA staff about the introduction of CED in New York City. Has any one on here seen it? Are any one of the people in it still alive today? |

You were in a recent documentary by mike malloy? I met a guy who is a vhs distributor who knows him and had said you were interviewed for it. I actually have a picture of the interview haha. Small world haha! _________________ I dont own

Yes, Mike is doing a documentary on consumer video history. He taped not only CED, but some other items like Cartrivision, Quasar Great Time Machine, Technicolor Compact Video Cassette (CVC), and the RCA VBT200 VCR.
Technicolor CVC came out in 1980, so it's contemporaneous with CED, and oddly enough, Technicolor now owns the RCA trademark. Here's a video of their booth at the 2012 CES:
