Managed to remove it ok.
I simply slid an empty caddy over it and pulled it out.
Belts replaced.
Works perfectly.
First CED player I've bought broken and fixed. |

I acquired a GEC McMichael V5000H (UK) machine.
In taking the top off, I found a broken disc and a stuck caddy.
I removed the broken disc (broke in two parts).
